Robbie Williams - Germany, 1999
I worked closely with Robbie Williams on a book called ‘Somebody Someday’ and several more projects over the years. He always had the most incredible team around him, and I was always treated really well. I travelled with him on private jets and in limousines, capturing moments all around Europe both on and off stage.
Sometimes as a photographer, you just have to seize the moment. I cheekily took a series of shots without him knowing, as he was walking back to the limo after having a pee. I love how this shot captures his expression as he notices me! The security guard and the name on the front of the lorry, adds an extra layer of meaning to the image.
