Chris Floyd is a British photographer.  He made his name in the 90s photographing all the Britpop acts of the era: Oasis, The Verve, Supergrass, Elastica, Suede, Manic Street Preachers.

 From there he evolved into one of the best known portrait photographers in the UK before moving to New York in 2000, where he built on his career in the American market.  His work has appeared in some of the world’s most highly respected publications, including Vogue, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, Harpers Bazaar, GQ, Esquire, The New York Times Magazine and The Sunday Times Magazine among others.

In 2022 he published his first monograph dedicated to the broad sweep of his career.   ‘NOT JUST PICTURES’ – published by Reel Art Press – is a 320 page volume, full of portraits, with 60 pieces of written text that tell the stories behind some of his favourite pictures.
