Erroll Jones started his creative career as an art-director and co-owner of the seminal cross-cultural lifestyle magazine ‘2nd Generation’.  

His love affair with photography began when he was given a broken Praktica camera as a teenager. He got it repaired and took it everywhere shooting any and everything.

When his mates formed the Prodigy he would take his camera to the early gigs and continued to photograph them informally up until 2005. He would share some of the images with the band but the bulk of negatives and transparencies would lay for years gathering dust in his attic.

He rediscovered them during lockdown and decided there was enough material to do an exhibition. The result being ‘My Mates’ Band, which was a collection of  prints, most of which had never been published before.
