Behind The Gallery and Marshall will present The Strokes: Is This It – 25th Anniversary, a one-night-only exhibition marking 25 years since one of the most important debut albums in rock history. The exhibition takes place Wednesday 22 July 2026 in Darlinghurst, Sydney.

To mark the anniversary, Behind The Gallery brings together the two definitive photographers of The Strokes, Cody Smyth and Colin Lane, whose combined body of work tells the complete visual story of the band's rise and enduring legacy.

  • Lucky Door Prize: Terms & Conditions Marshall x Behind The Gallery "Is This It" 25th Anniversary Event
    1. Promoter. The promotion is conducted by Behind The Gallery, ABN 87 119 627 463 
    2. Promotion period. Entry is open only to guests attending the Marshall x Behind The Gallery event at Stanley Street Gallery, Sydney NSW, on Tuesday 22 July 2026 ("the Event"). Entries are accepted from when doors open until the draw time approximately 7pm on the night of the Event.
    3. Eligibility. Entry is open to attendees of the Event aged 18 years or over. Employees of the Promoter, Marshall, The Drita, and their immediate families, as well as agencies and suppliers directly associated with the promotion, are not eligible to enter.
    4. How to enter. Each guest will receive one (1) numbered entry ticket upon arrival at the Event. No purchase is necessary. Entry is free and limited to one entry per person. Guests must retain their ticket stub to claim a prize.
    5. The prizes. There are two (2) prizes:First prize: One (1) Marshall Stanmore IV speaker, valued at AU$679 (RRP).Second prize: One (1) signed photography print, valued at AU$400.Total prize pool: AU$1,079. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.
    6. The draw. Winning tickets will be drawn randomly at approximately 7pm on 22 July 2026 at the Event. The first valid ticket drawn wins the first prize; the second valid ticket drawn wins the second prize. Each guest may win a maximum of one (1) prize. This is a game of chance; skill plays no part in determining the winners.
    7. Claiming the prizes. Winners must be present at the Event at the time of the draw and produce their matching ticket stub to claim their prize. If a winning ticket holder is not present or does not come forward within five (5) minutes of the draw being announced, a redraw will take place under the same conditions until a valid winner is identified.
    8. Winner announcement. Winners will be announced at the Event on the night. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
    9. Publicity. By accepting the prize, the winner consents to the Promoter using their first name and image (including event photography) for reasonable promotional purposes connected with the Event, without further compensation. A winner may decline photography by advising event staff.
    10. Privacy. Personal information (name and email address) provided by guests when RSVPing to the Event may be used by the Promoter to administer the promotion, including notifying or verifying winners. Where a guest has opted in at RSVP, Behind The Gallery & Marshall may also use their details to send marketing communications, which the guest may unsubscribe from at any time. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and will not be disclosed to third parties except as required to conduct the promotion or by law.
    11. Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered in connection with the promotion or the prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law (including under the Australian Consumer Law).
    12. General. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry not in accordance with these terms. If the promotion cannot proceed as planned for reasons beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter may modify, suspend, or cancel the promotion subject to any applicable laws.
    Total prize pool value: AU$1,079. This promotion is conducted as a free-entry game of chance and, being under the AU$10,000 prize pool threshold, does not require a trade promotion authority in New South Wales.
