David Bowie - Phoenix Festival, 1996
I worked with David Bowie around the time of his 50th birthday tour in 1997. The year before I had photographed him at various festivals, and this is one image that stands out for me. Bowie looked absolutely incredible in his Union Jack suit,
and the way the colours pop on the metallic paper (we have printed on), adds an extra layer of vibrancy to the shot. It’s a moment that captures his iconic style and presence.
