Lance Mercer is one of Seattle's most important music photographers, having documented the Pacific Northwest punk and grunge scene from his earliest teens. His unparalleled access to Pearl Jam — as their official tour photographer from 1992 to 1995 — produced some of the most intimate images ever captured of one of the world's most private bands.
