Joseph Cultice is an American photographer known for his richly detailed, often surreal portraiture of some of alternative music's most singular artists. Working primarily through the 1990s and 2000s, Cultice built a diverse portfolio that spans experimental rock, electronic, metal and art pop.
His work for Behind The Gallery includes portraits of Björk, Beck, Aphex Twin, Danzig, Nine Inch Nails and others — each image reflecting his instinct for capturing the idiosyncratic personality of his subjects.
