Chris Cuffaro is a Los Angeles-based photographer who spent the 1990s at the epicentre of the grunge and alternative rock explosion, building close relationships with the artists who defined the era. His shoots are characterised by an ease and naturalism born of genuine friendship — he shot bands not as subjects, but as collaborators.
