Smashing Pumpkins - Amsterdam, 1996
This image of the Smashing Pumpkins was taken in Holland, capturing a moment by the canal as they held tulips - a nod to the city’s iconic flower. I’ve had the privilege of working with the band for many years, with my first experience as an assistant to a photographer in 1993. Even then, I found them to be fascinating and visually captivating.
These were very cool and exciting times, particularly during the ‘Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness’ era. I was lucky enough to work with them again this year too on their most recent UK tour. I will always be a huge fan of theirs.
